Make expertise work on shouts.

I allways thoughy it did. Yesterday I used Stand Your Ground and Fall Back on my ranger and discovered it doesn't. It seemed so natural for me for expertise to work on shouts as well. Apparently it doesn't work for warrior "skills" either. I think it did in the past ?

Now it works for "attacks", "touch skills" and "Ranger skills". It used to work on all "skills" in the past right ?

Please change it back. :-)
Using Stand Your Ground was just too expensive for my ranger.

It never worked on warrior skills.

I think it used to work on all stances (which might be why you're getting it mixed up with warrior skills). I vaguely remember using mesmer mantras under expertise.

Don't quite see why it should work on shouts, though. Shouting was never in a ranger's role.

Edit: I might very well be talking out of my rear. I just checked wiki and it does say "all attacks".

It use to work on shouts but it quite honestly made rangers better paragons than paragons were. Only ranger shouts are affected now and i think thats best.

yes it did work on warrior skills, it worked on "Skills" anything labeled skill was reduced. i know i used to run a [skill]flourish[/skill] interrupter ranger, but they nerfed that *cry*

after the merging of evasion and blocking i find that its was infinitely easier to kill them. Not to mention most assassin skills can utterly destroy them.

If expertise affects shouts, paragons are dead.

I think expertise needs to no longer effect "touch" skills.

or just convert vampbite etc from skill to "SPELL" and nerf touch rangers. Seriously we've had this BS for a year+ now. They nerf E/D's but they were easy, dazed or gaze of contempt etc. Touchers are far more annoying to kill than an E/D.

Agreed. Touch rangers are just annoying and shouldn't have been viable in the first place.

yea only problem with that idea is expertise lowers touch spells too last time i checked.
